Requirements of the job include:
- Oregon EMT Certification
- CPR Certification
- 21 years in age

PARAMEDIC
Paramedics are assigned to ALS ambulances and provide advanced life support services for the citizens of Douglas County. Paramedics also perform non-emergency interfacility services in an ALS equipped ambulance.

WAGES, BENEFITS, & WORK SCHEDULES
Umpqua Valley Ambulance hires career-oriented employees who match the company goal of meeting each customer’s needs. OREGON EMT CERTIFICATION
Oregon specifies three levels of EMT certifications. Most NREMT-certified applicants are eligible to receive reciprocity with a provisional certification.
